Thursday

greetings...

By the time Bekah reads this tomorrow she'll be done with finals! Can I get a hells yeah! Ok, so maybe just a yeah! I finished finals this morning, and let me tell ya, it felt amazing. Really, I didn't think that feeling existed, but it did. I've been able to feel that way all day, and I love it.

We go home on Saturday! I'm counting down the days.

It snowed today! I love the snow. I got to be all cold and wet and miserable. But that's why I like it.

We get to see our mom, dad, sister, and brother soon! This is reason enough to be overly excited, which I am. We love our family :D

(Hope Bekah kicks butt in her English final. But this is Bekah we're talking about... She always kicks butt. And that is why we love her. Good luck!)

Sunday

Two more weeks. Wow. Where did this semester go? Summer feels like it was years ago and Christmas feels like it is months away (my sense of time is all messed up)
Anyway, here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving break. Enjoy.

The beautiful Rachel

Rachel dropped a few things....
Beautiful gardens

Beautiful buildings

More to come :)

Saturday

Berkeley Plantation

We spent a few hours at Berkeley Plantation on Wednesday before heading to Williamsburg.

the sunset on the James River

Rachel really liked the hotel....

Friday

Happy Thanksgiving!

How have we been spending our Thanksgiving break?

Exploring Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and the Berkeley Plantation!

This trip has been so much fun and we are a little sad that it ends tomorrow. But, it also means that Christmas is that much sooner!!! (finals are closer too.... yikes!)
We have learned so much in such a short amount of time and we are definitely thankful for all of the new knowledge about the history of our country. We love America and feel so blessed to be apart of this country.

Tuesday

The Little Things

I woke up to this yesterday. Isn't the moon gorgeous?

Wednesday

Yum

No, we didn't eat this for dinner (unfortunately....)
In fact, this picture is a year old.

But a picture like this must be shared.

What have we been up to?

All right.... here we go.
Let us share with you a brief list of the activities we have been up to (besides school, studying, tests, and more studyingBulleted List)
  • We went caving in West Virginia and it was so much fun! Stay tuned for pictures.
  • Camping (although only one twin went on that adventure)
  • Cooking.... which only makes us a) miss our mom's cooking b) wish that we had a kitchen and c) want to never eat in the cafeteria again. Alas, a kitchen must be in our near future.
  • As we have spent countless hours with our friends, we have come to the realization that we have the most amazing friends in the world. They add so much to our lives
  • And we cannot forget tennis. Because the fall season ended a couple weeks ago, our tennis team is currently holding a clinic for kids ranging from the ages of 3-13. The kids are hilarious and we all absolutely love teaching.

This isn't everything, but we will keep you updated.

{mmmm.... she loves bananas}

{looks can be deceiving.... those pancakes were delicious!}

{vegetable and shrimp stirfry. and yes, that is the picture of our first attempt at potstickers. Definitely not as good as our mom's but we tried}
And Halloween is almost here!

Sunday

Temple Trip

{although it may seem like rebekah is trying to flex her muscle in this picture, she is not}
We had the amazing opportunity to attend the Washington DC LDS temple with the school we attend. Classes were cancelled (yes!) and we all piled in buses for the annual temple service day.
This temple is gorgeous!

Friday

Hello

I'm not lying when I say that totally forgot about this blog.... Life has just been that crazy.

But we have a lot to share and maybe it will appear sometime this week..... hopefully.

Monday

New beginnings

Rachel in Logan Canyon.
The end of summer is almost here.
In two days we will be leaving Utah and heading back to Virginia for our sophomore year of college. We have really enjoyed our two months in Utah and are very sad to leave. Of course, the excitement of school is somewhere in the back of our minds, and we are every excited to see all of our friends.
The movie Dr. Zhivago awaits our family after dinner. And don't forget the big bowls of popcorn that go along with that. I think that is just what I need.
Isn't life just grand?

Saturday

Summer

This summer has been filled with camping, hiking, friends, family, and many fun adventures. We have been working like crazy the last couple weeks and have been trying to squeeze in any last minute plans.
As always, the summer is too short.

Roger Federer!

Thursday

Utah Symphony

We went to the Utah symphony at Sundance last week. It was so amazing listening to such beautiful music in such beautiful place. We had a blast! Plus, the theme was patriotic because of Independence Day.

The Y.

We hiked the Y a couple days ago with our little brother and the valley was so pretty on the hike. There was a little old man running up and down the mountain and he definitely put us to shame.

Wednesday

Home Depot

We kind of embarrassed our parents.....
