Sunday

the world is beautiful

simply put, our weekend was amazing. we enjoyed a short trip to virginia beach with our tennis team. a few highlights include: swimming in the ocean, spending time with our friends/teammates, learning a few valuable lessons about life (they were definitely needed), eating delicious food, and, of course, playing tennis.

(our va trip was brought up while we were in the library thursday with our friend. we kept mentioning how excited we were for the food, and our friend asked, "wait, what about tennis? aren't you excited about being able to play?"

yes, obviously. but we like the food, too :)

the rain stopped right before we arrived at the beach.

perfect timing, right?

Monday

wait a second.

moving on.
this picture is a hike i went on with some friends about a month ago. bekah was busy with [fun] orientation activities, so she wasn't able to come. maybe next time?

the hike is called the devil's marbleyard. you hike two miles to a mountain of huge boulders that you are then able to climb. your whole body gets a workout (my arms are usually sore the next day). how awesome is that? i haven't made it to the top yet, but next time i go, i will definitely make it all the way :)

i love virginia.

best quote ever.

“It isn't as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don't worry. I say that to myself every morning. It all works out in the end. Put your trust in God, and move forward with faith and confidence in the future. The Lord will not forsake us. He will not forsake us. If we will put our trust in Him, if we will pray to Him, if we will live worthy of His blessings, He will hear our prayers.”

Q: who makes you laugh when you're having a bad day and very stressed?

A: your twin

could also be categorized as what we already know and are now acknowledging

you must be careful while making caramel brownies..... common sense goes a long way

there are always reasons to smile, even on bad days

the phantom of the opera is on bek's top 10 favorite movies list

working in the rain isn't that bad, as long as you have a raincoat
