Sunday

Good news!

Our mom and little brother will be visiting in one week! They will be visiting us during our spring break. There is so much to look forward to!

Saturday

Tegan and Sara

Last week we went to a Tegan and Sara concert. It was so amazing! There music is so good live and they are so funny. We have wanted to go to one of their concerts for awhile. We took a lot of videos but they aren't very good.

Friday

happy birthday Isaac!

we're pretty sure we have the coolest little brother.

yesterday he turned 12. we can't believe it. it seems like yesterday he was brought home from the hospital. we love him so much. he is the best brother anyone could ever ask for. we miss him so much. we get to see him next month though! so exciting!
happy birthday Isaac!

Saturday

Our Cave

Look what we did today! We built a snow cave. Actually it's more like dug than built.

We are pretty proud of ourselves.

Oh no, she's coming out!

The view is gorgeous.

We made it bigger but it was dark outside so we couldn't take pictures. We'll try to take more tomorrow... Hopefully no one ruins it.

Tuesday

all day

We are seriously missing our little brother right now. He has a birthday coming up (on Feb. 18th to be exact) and he will be 12 years old. We had so much with Isaac over Christmas break, and we felt so special when he decided to spend time with us instead of his friends.

Snow!

At the moment, we are watching the season premiere of Lost while enjoying the news that two of our classes are cancelled tomorrow. I don't think I have ever liked snow so much. But back to Lost.... is anyone as confused as we are? The hour recap just made us more confused. They have smashed so many people/things/places into these seasons. Seriously, we're lost.

So Much Easier

We have an astronomy test tomorrow so we've been studying. There is list of astronomers we are suppose to know. We have been coming up with key names that will help us remember them and what they did. Here's two of them. Be warned: these make perfect sense to us.

Eratosthenes... ratatouille. Eratosthenes was known for measurements. The right measurements are useful when you're cooking so ratatouille is perfect. And they both have the word rat in them.

Hipparchus. We think of a hippo wearing a cone hat decorated with stars. Hipparchus was known for the 1st star chart and precession (axis makes cone). it makes sense, no?
