Summer in Utah

Our summer has been amazing. We've done so many fun things and we've met some great people. Here are some highlights:

... Just hanging out in our yard after playing badminton...

... Bekah and I worked from 6am-6pm, Monday-Saturday. Each morning we were able to see beautiful sunrises. They were breath taking...

...Lots and lots of fireworks... :D

... Crazy dance parties...

... Our sister, Naomi, and niece, Eleanor, visited for a week in July. We had so much fun together. (Sorry the photo quality is horrible.)

... Hanging around Temple Square after our planned hiking trip turned into a trip to Salt Lake City to pick our mom, Naomi, and Eleanor up after their car broke down. Adventure? I think so...

....Hiking trips...

... Bowling with the fam for the 4th of July...

...We played in the snow that we found while hiking in July. How many people can say they've done that?

... Camping trip with our friends...

... Camping out in Provo for the parade... A family tradition we've done for many years...

... Our family at Sundance for the Patriotic celebration performed by the Utah Symphony...

...We hiked to the Y...

...Before hiking, we found this deer on the street and called animal control. We saved its life... NBD...

... Bekah's roommate, Shelly, from Georgia, visited us in June. It was so nice seeing her! Glad she was willing to come to Utah...

... Our summer was filled with lots of biking, which we enjoyed very much...

...While Shelly was visiting, we went on a road trip to California. The beach, Disneyland, and biking along the ocean were all part of our trip...

... yard work... :)

...We visited our dad in Vegas on our way to California....

...We spent a lot of time hanging out with our Brother, Isaac. He is the coolest kid ever...

We have many pictures, but we don't have time to post them all. These will have to do.

Can't wait to see what next summer brings. :D

Thursday

So...

Look at us rocking the bowl cuts. We were pretty cool kids ;)

(i guess our parents thought that twins could get away with any hair cut)

Wednesday

smiling all the way

With the absence of gelato, we have turned to frozen yogurt. The two can't be compared, but frozen yogurt is a lot better than the gelato from Costco. They get points for trying

Friday

Well....

A street in Spello, Italy

Here are a few photos from our Italy trip. Hopefully I'll find the will power to add more to the blog :)

Monday

i'm 20 and i still can't start the lawn mower

how embarrassing.

A trip to remember

outside of the Borghese Gallery in Rome

Wednesday we returned to America after 17 days in Italy.

We had such a great time and already miss the food, people, culture, and overall atmosphere.

Hello!

Yes, it's definitely been a while!

We'll mention a few highlights from the past months:
  • Our birthday! (our amazing sister gave us a Polaroid camera! the picture above was the first picture to be taken. note the tower of racquets in the background)
  • Our awesome spring break tennis trip to Baltimore
  • Spending time with family and our little niece
  • Overcoming various obstacles and dominating the tennis court (what can we say? we like to joke)
  • Spending time with our awesome roommates and friends
  • General Conference (probably one of the best weekends ever)
  • And, of course, learning lots and lots in our classes!
Life is good and we are very blessed.

But we can't forget the most exciting news yet!
We have the privilege of traveling to Italy next month!
