Monday

Hello!

Well, it has definitely been awhile....
The holidays have come and gone, and now it is 2011!
Christmas was wonderful and so was the food. We spent New Years Eve working on puzzles while listening to The Beatles and eating amazing food.

While on break, we went camping in Canyonlands National Park with our brother and dad for a few days. It was a blast (despise the cold), and we had a lot of fun hiking, too.
We also watched some great movies (I'm thinking Prince of Persia!) with our family.

We head back to Virginia in a couple days and can't wait.

Thursday

greetings...

By the time Bekah reads this tomorrow she'll be done with finals! Can I get a hells yeah! Ok, so maybe just a yeah! I finished finals this morning, and let me tell ya, it felt amazing. Really, I didn't think that feeling existed, but it did. I've been able to feel that way all day, and I love it.

We go home on Saturday! I'm counting down the days.

It snowed today! I love the snow. I got to be all cold and wet and miserable. But that's why I like it.

We get to see our mom, dad, sister, and brother soon! This is reason enough to be overly excited, which I am. We love our family :D

(Hope Bekah kicks butt in her English final. But this is Bekah we're talking about... She always kicks butt. And that is why we love her. Good luck!)

Sunday

Two more weeks. Wow. Where did this semester go? Summer feels like it was years ago and Christmas feels like it is months away (my sense of time is all messed up)
Anyway, here are a few pictures from Thanksgiving break. Enjoy.

The beautiful Rachel

Rachel dropped a few things....
Beautiful gardens

Beautiful buildings

More to come :)

Saturday

Berkeley Plantation

We spent a few hours at Berkeley Plantation on Wednesday before heading to Williamsburg.

the sunset on the James River

Rachel really liked the hotel....

Friday

Happy Thanksgiving!

How have we been spending our Thanksgiving break?

Exploring Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and the Berkeley Plantation!

This trip has been so much fun and we are a little sad that it ends tomorrow. But, it also means that Christmas is that much sooner!!! (finals are closer too.... yikes!)
We have learned so much in such a short amount of time and we are definitely thankful for all of the new knowledge about the history of our country. We love America and feel so blessed to be apart of this country.

Tuesday

The Little Things

I woke up to this yesterday. Isn't the moon gorgeous?

Wednesday

Yum

No, we didn't eat this for dinner (unfortunately....)
In fact, this picture is a year old.

But a picture like this must be shared.
