berry picking

bekah and i went blackberry picking with some friends a few days ago, and it was completely wonderful!

we could pick as many as we wanted and before we knew it, we had picked 1 gallon of delicious blackberries.

ok, so maybe bekah picked 3/4 of the gallon and i picked the rest. she was on a roll, and while i could have easily beaten her, i was too busy taking all these photos ;) the lady told us that we could eat as many as we wanted while picking, and by the end we all had stomach aches and dyed hands. it was such a fun day! later that night we made cobbler that was so yummy! it was a little on the sweet side, but that didn't bother me.

bek and i have been looking up blackberry recipes and i must say, they all look appetising. we're going to have a difficult time choosing what recipe to make next.
